About Top Robots List
Top Robots List is the cross-sector robot index: a structured, sourced, continuously updated database of every commercially relevant robot — not another listicle.
Why this exists
Robotics coverage is either news (unstructured, ephemeral) or academic databases (authoritative but narrow). Nobody maintained a current, structured answer to basic questions: which robots actually work commercially today, what are their real specs, and what can you actually buy? We built the entity graph that answers them — 50 robots, 352 sourced specs, 148 tracked events, and counting.
Our rules
- Everything sourced and dated. Every spec cites a URL with a retrieval date. Unsourced data cannot enter the site — the build literally fails.
- Rankings are computed, not sold. The Top Robots Index follows a published formula. Sponsorships and affiliate links never move a ranking.
- No fake signals. No invented ratings, prices or availability. Where prices change fast we say "check current price" instead of pretending precision.
- Open data. Rankings and the specs dataset are downloadable under CC-BY 4.0 — cite us and use them, including in AI applications.
Corrections
Spot a wrong spec or a stale status? We correct within 24 hours of verification. Every page shows when its data was last verified.
